Coordination and participation in the Campaign Against Violence.

The campaign was composed of various public activities and presentations that took place from November 19th to December 10th in Rosario, Argentina.


INSGENAR, together with 18 governmental and non-governmental organizations, has organized a series of activities to be held in Rosario as part of this year's Campaign for NON-VIOLENCE. This Campaign and its activities honor 3 important dates:

The 19th of November:
The International Day Against Child Abuse

The 25th November:
The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

The 10th of December:
The International Day for Human Rights

Individuals of all ages are invited to show their support and/or learn more about human rights and the Campaign Against Violence by attending and participating in the following activities:

Program of Activities

  • November 19th
    • Showing of children's human rights projects from the different Rosario elementary schools. Foro Plaza, 10 AM.
    • Meeting with the municipalities Family Law Judges, Correctional Officers and Defenders of Young People. Elementary students will present the judges with the book "Abuso Sexual Infantil ¿Denunciar o Silenciar?" (Child Sexual Incest: Denounce or Silcence?) by Carlos Rozansky. Tribunal Palace, 10:30 AM.
  • November 21st & 24th
    • Public Activities and Information booths, Pringles Plaza, 7 PM to 9 PM.
  • November 25th
    • Presentation of In the Open. A Human Rights Report on Reproductive Health Care in Public Hospitals. Faculty of Medicine, 10:30 AM.
    • "Accomplishments, difficulties and perspectives: A gender perspective on the fight against violence"- a debate forum/discussion in which governmental and non-governmental organizations will participate. The discussion will commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
    • Artistic display. Bernadino Rivadavia Cultural Center 3 PM to 8 PM.
  • December 2nd
    • Conference with Dr. Rozansky. The Comercial Employers Union Theatre, 7 PM
  • December 10th
    • Colective activities organized by various Human Rights Organizations.
