Mission Statement

Our mission is to foment real democracies that are based on the full civil participation of men and women.

We promote the change in attitudes, processes and cultural practices of institutions and individuals, so that Human Rights can be implemented in people's daily lives without sexual, age, ethnic, class and all other kinds of discrimination.

We work in Human Rights Education from a holistic perspective and with a gender sensitive approach. We conceive Human Rights Education as an important tool for the empowerment of citizenship. Being aware of our Human Rights is the first step in bridging the gap existing between the rights outlined in international treaties and the possibility of enjoying those rights in the local arena, as much in the public sphere as in the private one.
